In the season of 2013/14 Tilmann Unger will be singing Wagner's Parsifal in Innsbruck, Austria.
The German tenor studied at the Universtiy of Freiburg and Würzburg. He made his debut as Lensky in Eugen Onegin, Pelleas in Pelleas et Melisande and Narraboth in Salome.
As a highly acclaimed concert soloist, engagements have lead the artist to perform Beethovens 9 th. Symphony in the concert halls of Berlin and Hamburg and the opera house of Lemberg, Ukraine.
He collaborated with the Orchestra of the German Opera Berlin, the South West Radio Orchestra, the Symphonic Orchetra Bochum, where he was singing Das klagende Lied by Mahler.
In 2007 Tilmann Unger was acclaimed the Art Support Prize of the Bavarian State.
From 2007-2012 the Tenor was a Member of the Staatstheater Gaertnerplatz, Munich, where he sang the major roles such as: Albert Gregor in Janá%u010Deks Die Sache Makropulos, Max in Freischuetz, Eisenstein in Fledermaus, Prince in L'Amour des trois oranges and Hans in Verkaufte Braut.
In 2012 Tilmann Unger sang Stewa in Jenufa at the Tyrolean Theatre in Innsbruck and took part in an Opera Gala in Bejing/China, singing parts of Wagner's Valkyre and Tristan.
In 2013 he sang Mahler´s Lied von der Erde in Eisenach, Germany.
Also he made his debut in the Ring by Wagner, where he took part in the compilation production of Bayreuth as Siegmund und Siegfried, staged by Philippe Arlaud.
In the same year Tilmann Unger appeared in an Operetta Gala together with Frederica von Stade in the Konzerthaus of Vienna.
