Celeste has wowed audiences in Australia and now Germany, as the winner of the 2015 German Australia Opera Grant.  The young mezzo made several role debuts for the 2015/16 season at Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden, with roles including Emilia (Otello), Meg Page (Falstaff), 3rd Maid (Elektra), Suzuki and Kate Pinkerton (Madama Butterfly), Innkeeper (Boris Godunov), and Charlotte (Die Soldaten).

Celeste's major operatic roles include Dorabella (Cosi Fan Tutte), La Voix, Muse/Nicklausse (Les Contes de Hoffmann), Rosina (Il Barbiere di Siviglia), Frau Reich (Die Lustigen Weiber Von Windsor), Marchesa Melibea (Il Viaggio A Reims), Florence Pike and Nancy Waters (Albert Herring,  Tamerlano (Tamerlano),  Bertarido (Rodelinda), Carmen (Carmen),  Mother Goose (The Rake's Progress), Madame Rosa (Il Campanello), Sally (A Hand of Bridge - Barber), Deuxieme Commere (Angelique), La Marchande (Les Maremelles de Tiresias), Zweite Dame, (Die Zauberflöte), Annio and Sesto, (La Clemenza di Tito), Idomeneo, (Idomeneo) , Orlofsky, (Die Fledermaus), Strauss, Nancy (Martha),and Komponist, (Ariadne auf Naxos).

Celeste is often invited to perform new and modern works, such as Charlotte in Zimmermann#s Die Soldaten. Previously was asked to lead two operatic roles at the annual Vienna Modern Festival (Wien Modern):  Maria in Azrael by Dirk D'Ase and Schlange in Edenarabeske by Wolfgang Liebhardt. Celeste was also the soloist for concerts of newly composed works with the Sydney Symphonietta ate Sydney's Angel Place Concert Hall under the baton of Maestro Richard Gill OAM.

Equally at home on the concert stage, Celeste has performed with notable orchestras such as Duetches Kammer Orchester in association with Frankfurter Philharmoniker Orchester, the Early Music Ensemble, Sydney Symphonietta Orchestra, Radio Community Chest  Orchestra, , National Trust Heritage Festival Program Orchestra,  Orchestra of Christchurch St Laurence, Blue Mountains Choral Society Orchestra, Sydney Male Choir Orchestra, Konservatorium Wien Orchestra,  Sutherland Choral Society Orchestra, University of Sydney Musical Society Orchestra, Macquarie University Singers Orchestra. Celeste also appeared as a guest of the Sydney Schubert Society to sing a solo recital titled - Songs of Night and Yearning.

Perfromances include notable works-  Schubert's Ständchen ; Vivaldi's Gloria; Queen Jezebel in  Mendelssohn's Elijah; Handel's Messiah and  Coronation Anthem;  Mozart's Vespers, Requiem, and Mass in C minor;  Jenkin's An Armed Man- A Mass for Peace;  Haydn's Nelson Mass ; Diabelli's Pastoral Mass; Bach's  Cantata No. 21; Diabelli's Pastoral Mass and Beethoven's Symphony No.9, Final Movement.  


 She is the recipient of awards including the German Australian Opera Grant, The George and Margaret Henderson Travelling Scholarship, and the Radiminski and Meranda langauge prizes from the Mathy Australian Singing Competition. 

Celeste completed her Masters of Opera at Konservatorium Wien Privaat Universität under the tutelage of Carol Blaickner-Mayo. Celeste also holds a Bachelor of Music Studies, an Advanced Diploma of Opera and a Post Graduate Diploma of Music/Opera from the University of Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Australia, under the instruction of Maree Ryan and Barry Ryan OAM.
